I Have Found my Purpose!

To help credit union CEOs, board members, and other executives exceed their goals and make a big impact on the success of the credit union and it's members. To be their confidante, hold them accountable, and celebrate their successes.

And, I love it!

It is my passion, but it took me awhile to get here.

Prior to discovering my purpose and passion, I was a very successful entrepreneur, CEO, and human resources consultant for nearly 20 years. I assisted organizations in designing base and incentive compensation systems, developing human resource policies and employee handbooks, creating performance management programs, performing organizational analysis, and providing a host of other human resource – related services.

I ran two start-up companies, which was both challenging and fun. The best part of these jobs was the people I got to hire and work with. They were knowledgeable, offered great customer service, and were thoughtful, genuine people with strong character and integrity.

Those were the values that I looked for in people that I hired and those are the values that I live by each day.

The Road Hasn't Always Been Smooth

The road hasn't always been smooth in my career or life, and I have persevered successfully through many challenges.

I was an excellent human resource consultant and could have continued down that path for the rest of my career, but after almost 20 years, I felt it was time for an even greater challenge - the challenge of changing my career mid life.

No, I don't think it was the result of a mid-life crisis!

The inspiration for this change came several years ago as I struggled as a CEO to appease my Board of Directors and the owners of the company; while hiring and mentoring staff, creating new products and services, and growing the company's revenue. Sometimes I felt isolated, taken for granted, and STRESSED.

My Life was Changed

I am a big believer in continuous learning and most of my learning comes from reading books. The author of one of my favorite books "Living Your Best Life" was a certified coach and accepting new clients. I signed up to work with her. This experience changed my life. I knew what I had to do and more importantly, what I was meant to do – help executives exceed their goals by being there for them.

Having worked with hundreds of executives and board members, and having been in their shoes, I am able to confidently help CEOs, board members, and other leaders Lead to Exceed.
